So what’s a Texian anyway?

The term Texian has its roots in the Texas Revolution. The word generally refers to Anglos settlers who lived in the Tejas y Coahulia area of northern Mexico, although is is used frequenty to describe anyone who fought for Texas independence. During the war, the term took on a more nationalistic meaning and was used to unite Texans in thier struggle.
